Promoting Renewable Energy
Solar Lights, other solar devices will be provided to the people in the villages and in the community areas for less dependence on electricity and thereby saving energy. It will be achieved through providing Solar Lights, other solar devices to the rural people and communities ; Fitting of Solar Street Lights in villages ; organising meetings, conferences, seminars on energy conservation ; motivating people for use of renewable energy through audio visual aids etc. in rural as well as urban areas

Enhancing Carbon Sequestration through planting trees
Tree Plantation programmes to be held and planting is to be taken up in lands belonging to Government, Semi Government, public, community, school and colleges, other rural and urban areas. Tree saplings are to be distributed to the public. Conferences, seminars, meetings are to be held on role of trees in carbon sequestration and in mitigating global warming. Booklets, Pamphlets, Posters etc. are to be published

Collection and removal of waste to protect the environment
- Polyethene, other plastics and material causing serious environmental hazard lying along roadsides, parks, community areas etc. will be collected and disposed of at designated places. Garbage collection vehicles will be deployed and all the garbage lying almost everywhere will be collected and taken to the designated disposal centres. The actions to be taken include procurement of garbage collection vehicles ; deployment of required manpower, providing of Dust / Garbage Bins ; Awareness among children and general public in the matter through meetings, seminars, conferences, Publication of brochures Putting of signboards etc.

Soil & Water Conservation
Soil Conservation activities for reducing emissions, storing carbon, improving soil health, reducing run off such as contour ploughing, terracing, agro forestry, improving soil structure and water retention, civil structures for reducing water flow, recharge ground water etc shall be taken up. Water conservation activities as efficient irrigation techniques, rain water harvesting, ground water recharge practices, civil structures for water conservation etc shall be taken up. Awareness drives will be taken up through audio visual aids. Conferences/seminars will be organized for the purpose. Literature related to the activities will also be distributed and published
